Then you forget everything.
***
For some reason, the 5 of us moved. We moved into a new house. It was a smaller house, but it didn't really matter. We didn't stay at home often anyway. It was simply a place to stay.
To avoid having to redecorate the house or make any repairs, the agents made sure the occupants are always in a "daze" and a confused state of mind. In that house, you forget what happened in the last 5 minutes. Then it becomes worse, you start to forget what happened in the pass hour, day, month maybe.
Who knows. Who cares.
You look outside and think, I should go outside? Should I? Can I? Wait... what?
What?
And think again, should I go outside? And again, and again. But you won't leave, because you can't.
You don't know what you're doing, where you are, why you're there. You just walk about the house aimlessly. Sleep, when you're tired, eat when you're hungry. But you will forget why is it you are actually living.
You start to forget what goes on outside the house. Who the people are around you. You forget how to leave the house. Trapped in something that goes on in a continuous repetitive cycle.
In the end, you end up paying rent without complaints.
All a big conspiracy to trick people into paying for things you don't even know what you need it for.
