There once lived a bear who was made of an unsolvable equation. He lived because the equation gave him strength. It was a simple equation. A quadratic with no real roots.
For some reason, he chose to dwell in my family's newly renovated house, in one of the unoccupied rooms.
At first he was moody and grumpy, but after I made him a bed out of snow and made the surroundings of the house covered with ice, he was pleased. So pleased he devoted his loyalty to me.
He was like a pet. A big mathsy pet.
But the time came for the real owners to occupy the house. My mother told me to get rid of the bear.
So she gave me some numbers to solve him.
It was quite sad to part with my friend, but no matter how unsolvable and equation may seem, every problem has a solution!
